Wawasee Presents Winter Sports Awards

Jayce Boatwright was the Warrior Way winner for boys basketball. Chase Rookstool was the Warrior Team Defense winner; Tyler Smith earned most improved player, Jairus Boyer took the mental attitude award and Tim Conley the “Got Your Back” plaque. Zak Linnemeier won the junior varsity coaches award, and Marshal Miller the freshman coaches award.
In girls basketball, Erin Wiktorowski was the Warrior Way award winner, and Kylee Rostochak was the Performance Player of the Year. Aubrey Schmeltz was the top rebounder, and Hannah Haines was the Warrior Award winner. Madison Beaman won the JV award, and Caitlin Wortinger was freshman player of the year.
Wrestler Zac McKee was the Warrior Way winner for his sport. Tristin Ponsler was the most valuable wrestler, Jeremiah Dilley the most improved and Ricky Nelson the mental attitude award winner.
Lizzie Brugh represented the girls swim team as the Warrior Way winner, and Paige Miller was named most valuable swimmer. Tessa Freel won the coaches award, and Rynae Beaman was named the upcoming freshman. Caitlin Kingery was tabbed the Heart of a Warrior winner, with Macie Stuckman the most improved and Alyssa Koch the rookie of the year.
Logan Brugh was the Warrior Way winner for boys swimming, with Brady Robinson chosen as the most valuable swimmer. Alex Mathew earned the coaches award, and Jared Krugman the upcoming freshman award. Ethan Knepp was named the Heart of a Warrior winner, and Spencer Naugler was recognized as most improved. The rookie of the year winner was Aaron Troutman.
Meghan Beer was the Warrior Way winner from the gymnastics team, with Autumn Yoder the mental attitude winner and Reagan Atwood earning the coaches award. Beer also won the JV Drive, Desire and Determination award, and Kalynn Workman took home the most improved and outstanding JV gymnast awards.
Kelsey Doss was the cheerleading Warrior Way winner, and Paul Mendoza the MVP. Cecilie Rose was the spirit award winner. Sierra Littlejohn was the JV MVP, and Charanyapak Supatanavanichakul the most improved. Julie Bell was the freshman MVP.[[In-content Ad]]
