Wawasee Nets Central Noble

SYRACUSE - The Wawasee Warriors improved to 3-3 on the year with a 4-1 victory over Central Noble on Friday.
Mandy Perzanowski won in straight sets at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Crystal Cooper. The No. 2 doubles team also disposed of Central Noble in two sets as Laura Lundin and Kara Mathew picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Wawasee will head to Northridge on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

At Lakeville, Triton got back on the winning track with a 6-4 victory over LaVille on Friday.
LaVille scored three runs in the first, but Triton came back with two in the second and three in the third for the win.
Kevin Oxley had two hits and an RBI in the win. Brad Hargrove pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run and striking out seven to move to 2-0 on the season.
The junior varsity team defeated LaVille 3-1.
Triton (7-2, 2-1) will host Jimtown on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

At Nappanee, the Wawasee Warriors allowed two runs in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and fell to Northwood on Friday.
Josh Mitchell and Jesse Leonard each had a pair of singles, and Mitchell added an RBI in the loss.
Wawasee (5-5, 2-1) will host the Wawasee Classic at 11 a.m. today.
