Wawasee Announces Spring 2013 Adult Ed. Classes

SYRACUSE – Registrations are being accepted now through Feb. 5 for spring 2013 adult education classes at Wawasee High School.
The classes will begin the week of Feb. 11.
Wawasee offers a variety of classes for non-credit and also offers instruction for preparation to pass the GED test to attain a high school diploma.
All classes will be at Wawasee High School.
Anyone wanting to register for a class may send registration fee along with name, address and phone number to the Career/Technical and Continuing Education Office at WHS, 1 Warrior Path, Building 1, Syracuse, IN 46567. If you have questions, call 574-457-3147, Ext. 209, or stop at the high school main office to register for classes Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The offerings for the spring are:
• Excel, $40, on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Feb. 12, six classes, 6 to 8 p.m.
• GED, no fee, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Feb. 12, 6 to 8 p.m.
• Adult, Infant, Level II, III and IV Swimming Lessons, $40, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning April 16 for nine classes – infant (4 months to 2 years), 5:30 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 6:30 p.m.; Level I, II, III, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m./ Level I, II, IV, 7:15 to 8 p.m. Indicate age, time and level of child swimmer.
•Bodyworks (aerobics), $40, Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 11 for 14 classes, 7 to 8 p.m.
• Water Exercise, $45, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Feb. 12 for 14 classes, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
• Basic Baking Techniques, $50, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 12, six classes, 6:30 to 8 p.m. All supplies included.
• Quilting, $40, Tuesdays beginning Feb. 11, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., six classes.
• Basic Auto Mechanics, $25, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 12, 7 to 8 p.m., four classes.
• Zumba, $30, Tuesdays beginning Feb. 26, 7 to 8:30 p.m., five classes.[[In-content Ad]]
