Warsaw Zoners Look At Request For Setback Variance
July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.
The Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals and Plan Commission have set their December meetings for tonight.
The BZA will start at 6 p.m. returning to the request of Connie Rufenbarger, 1131 Country Club Drive, for a 14-foot rear yard setback for a new single family residence.
Setback standards for the R-1 zoned property are 25 feet.
The board also will consider Jerry Phillips' request from development standards for a 1,200-square-foot accessory structure for the purposes of a residential workshop. Phillips lives at 614 Austin Drive.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m. the plan commissioners will revisit the Kroger gas kiosk request at 2101 E. Center St.
The item was tabled last month after lengthy discussion regarding vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns and the number of parking spaces at the former Sav-a-Lot building. The commissioners referred the development plan to the traffic commission for their recommendation.
The gas kiosk is designed to have four pumping stations under a canopy at 2101 E. Center St. The station would be in the northeast corner north of the old Sav-a-Lot building between Cleveland and Harrison streets.
Under new business, the board will hear Bruce Woodward's plans for a three-lot residential development at Kincaide Crossing. [[In-content Ad]]
