Warsaw Woman Taken To Hospital After Crash

Warsaw Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision Monday just after 1 p.m. on US 30 near South CR 250E. According to the crash report, a vehicle driven by Steven E. Shelmadine, 42, Columbia City, was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Vicky L. Banks, 57, US 30, Warsaw. The report stated traffic was backed up due to the construction and traffic was reduced to one lane at the time of the incident. Banks was transported to the hospital to be treated for foot pain. Shelmadine was uninjured. Damage was estimated at between $2,500 and $5,000.[[In-content Ad]]
