Warsaw, Wawasee Split Swim Meet

The Warsaw boys team posted a 120-59 victory over their Wawasee counterparts, while the 16th-ranked Wawasee Lady Warriors defeated the Lady Tigers 118-67.
Warsaw's Jayden Parrett and Spencer Davidson, as well as Wawasee's Breanna Robinson and Paige Miller each garnered a first-place finish in each of the four events they swam in.
For the Warsaw boys, Jayden Parrett and Spencer Davidson were each on the winning 200 medley relay, along with Zach Taylor and Matt Wildman, as well as the winning 400 free relay with Josh Miller and Ethan Cook.
Individually, Parrett finished first in the 100 free (49.60) and 100 back (54.92), while Davidson won the 50 free (22.85) and 100 breast (59.09).
Also for Warsaw, Taylor won the 200 IM (2:06.78) and 100 fly (57.10) and Cook won the 200 free (1:55.13) and helped the 200 free relay win along with Miller, Mac Pelo and Wildman win.
In the girls meet, Robinson won the 100 free (52.51) and 100 back (57.47), while also anchoring the first-place relay team of Paige Miller, Kendra Miller and Kayla Hershberger and competing along with Paige Miller, Shelby Adams and Hershberger on the first place 200 medley relay.
Along with joining Robinson on the relays, Paige Miller also picked up two individual victories, including the 200 free (1:58.24) and 500 free (5:16.74).
Both squads are back in NLC competition this week, as Wawasee is at Elkhart Memorial Tuesday and Warsaw travels to NorthWood Thursday.
