Warsaw Track Team Nips Northridge On Senior Night

Adams was on the relay team with Ross Armey, Daniel Messenger and Landan Perry. They won in 3:34.81, giving the Tigers enough team points to pull out the win.
Brandon Reinholt was a double winner for the Tigers, taking the 100 and 200. Other first-place finishers were Riley Rhoades in the 400, Armey in the 300 hurdles, Messenger in the 800 and Owen Glogovsky in the 3200.
Second-place finishers were Ben Plummer, shot put; Jacob Burish, discus; Rashaan Jackson, long jump; Caleb Klusman, 300 hurdles, Perry, 400; Glogovsky, 1600; Armey, 100 and Zach Stavedahl in the 110 hurdles.
Tiger athletes with third-place finishes were Andrew Owens, 110 hurdles; Will McGarvey, 200; Brock Riley, high jump; Steven Reinholt, pole vault; Rane Kilburn, long jump; Andrew Scheidt, discus; and Dylan Childers, shot put.
Warsaw will host the Max Truex Invitational at Fisher Field tonight beginning at 6:30.

Thursday in Warsaw
Ethyn Bradley tripled and scored twice, and Sterling Hay singled, homered, scored twice and drove in four runs in Warsaw’s 13-2, five-inning win over Elkhart Central in non-conference action.
The offense backed the pitching of Zach Witt, who allowed two runs and six hits, while striking out five, picking up the win in five innings of work.
Next up for the Tigers is a Northern Lakes Conference home game with Concord at 5 p.m. today.

Whitko and Manchester will return to South Shore on Saturday to play in the Wawasee Invitational.
