Warsaw Schools Announces Summer Nutrition Programs

The Warsaw Community Schools today announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under and to persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Free meals will be provided at the sites listed below.
• Winona Lake Park, 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake, beginning June 8, ending July 31, lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Bixler Park at Center Lake, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, beginning June 8, ending July 31, lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Edgewood Middle School, 900 S. Union St., Warsaw, beginning June 8, ending July 31, breakfast 7:45 to 9 a.m., lunch 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Days off are July 1-10.*
• Warsaw Community High School, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw, beginning June 8, ending July 31, breakfast 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Days off July 1-8.*
• Washington STEM Academy, 423 Kincaide, Warsaw, beginning June 8, ending July 30, breakfast 8 to 9:15 a.m., lunch 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.*
• Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, Smith Street, Warsaw, Aug. 5 only, breakfast 8 to 10 a.m.

* Children not enrolled in summer school programs at school sites above may receive a meal the last 15 minutes of each serving period after students are released to class.
