Warsaw Schools Announce Summer Food Program

Warsaw Community Schools announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under and to persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
In accordance with federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution prohibits discrimination against its customers, employees, and applicants for employment on the bases of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, and where applicable, political beliefs, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, or all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program, or protected genetic information in employment or in any program or activity conducted or funded by the department. Not all prohibited bases will apply to all programs and/or employment activities.
If you wish to file a Civil Rights program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, or at any USDA office, or call 866-632-9992 to request the form. You may also write a letter containing all of the information requested in the form. • Winona Lake Park, 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake, beginning June 9, ending July 25, lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., off June 30 to July 4.
• Bixler Park at Center Lake, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, beginning June 9, ending July 25, lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., days off June 30 to July 4.
• Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, Smith Street, Warsaw, one day Aug. 6, breakfast 8 to 10 a.m.
• Warsaw Community High School, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw, beginning June 10, ending July 29, breakfast 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 10:45 to 11:45 a.m., days off July 3-5.
• Washington Elementary School, 423 Kincaide St., Warsaw, beginning June 10, ending July 2, breakfast 8 to 9:15 a.m., lunch 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Edgewood Middle School, 900 S. Union St., Warsaw, beginning June 10, ending July 29, breakfast 7:45 to 8:45 a.m., lunch 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., days off July 3-5.
Children not enrolled in summer school programs at school sites above may receive a meal the last 15 minutes of each serving period after students are released to class.[[In-content Ad]]
