The Warsaw law firm of Miner Lemon & Walston LLP announced its agreement to merge with the Stallwood Law Office of Indianapolis, effective Feb. 1.

Robert K. Stallwood, principal owner of Stallwood Law Office, will join the new firm of Miner Lemon & Walston LLP, and will serve as the resident attorney at the Indianapolis office. The merged office is just off 82nd Street in the Castleton Square area at 6345 Castleway Drive.

In announcing the expansion of the Warsaw law firm to the greater Indianapolis area, attorney Mike Miner said, "This unique opportunity has many positive advantages to our existing clients and those whom we expect to serve in the greater Indianapolis area. Bob Stallwood is recognized as one of the leading estate and business planning attorneys in central Indiana. Over his many years of service he has established a thriving law practice and the close loyalty of his clientele. His many clients extend throughout the greater Indianapolis urban area, and most particularly in the rapidly growing cities of Carmel, Noblesville, Fishers and Zionsville.

"Our law firm takes notice of the increasing numbers of our estate planning, estate administration, business and general practice clients with a robust presence in the central Indiana market. This merger will enable Miner Lemon & Walston LLP to better serve their legal needs."

Stallwood is a law graduate of the Indiana University School of Law with an undergraduate degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University. His practice consists primarily of business and estate planning, probate and trust administration, asset protection, elder law and Medicaid planning. He is a former member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and a charter founding member of WealthCounsel LLC, a national estate planning organization of more than 1,000 attorneys dedicated to planning for high net worth estates.

"I have worked with Bob Stallwood for more than three years within WealthCounsel, and I know his keen intelligence, practice wisdom, and dedication to the his clients and the legal profession," said Wayne Walston, partner at Miner, Lemon & Walston. "It will be a pleasure to have him on our team as we enter the Central Indiana market in a more focused, robust fashion."
