ORDINANCE NO. 2011-07-01
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 74-84
OF THE WARSAW CITY CODE
    WHEREAS, The City of Warsaw, Indiana ("City") by its Common Council desires to amend the Warsaw City Code:
    NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Warsaw, Indiana:
    Section 74-84 of the Warsaw City Code is amended to read as follows:
    Section 74-84. Charges
    In no event shall the charge for driving or towing in, impounding and receiving for storage of any vehicle impounded pursuant to this division or under any contract authorized by this division exceed the initial sum of $150.00 to which may be added storage charges not to exceed $15.00 per day, or fractional thereof, payable for vehicles so stored on property owned or rented by the city, or in lieu thereof, such reasonable storage charges shall be assessed at the rate fixed in any contract entered into pursuant to this division for storage of impounded vehicles for each day, fraction thereof, on and after the day the vehicle is impounded.
    PASSED and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Warsaw, Indiana, this 18th day of July, 2011.

Warsaw Gets Past Goshen On Penalty Kicks, Advances
A September match between the Warsaw and Goshen girls soccer teams resulted in a 1-1 tie after a hard-fought match. Tuesday night, the two teams met for a second time on a much bigger stage: the opening round of the 3A girls soccer sectional tournament at Elkhart High School. With a winner having to emerge this time around, it came down to penalty kicks, with the Lady Tigers winning 5-3 after a 0-0 tie.
