Warsaw Natives Playing Well In NBA Summer League

ORLANDO, Fla. – Monday featured more highlight-reel performances from Warsaw natives Miles and Mason Plumlee, as the brothers both scored in double figures for their respective teams in the NBA Summer League.
The week-long league is being played in Orlando, Fla.
Miles Plumlee, the Indiana Pacers’ first-round draft pick in 2012, tallied 16 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks, as the Pacers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 96-75.
Through two games in NBA Summer League action, Miles Plumlee is averaging 13 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks per contest.
In a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, Miles Plumlee tied an NBA Summer League record with six blocks.
Mason Plumlee, the first-round pick of the Brooklyn Nets in last month’s draft, was 8 of 8 from the field and 7 of 11 from the free throw line Monday, as he tallied 23 points, nine rebounds and a block in a 93-86 loss to the Miami Heat.
In first-round action Sunday, Mason Plumlee recorded 10 points, 14 rebounds a blocked shot.
Through two games, Mason Plumlee is averaging 17 points, 12 rebounds and one blocked shot per contest.
Miles Plumlee and the Pacers are back in action again today, as they were scheduled to play the Boston Celtics at 11 a.m.
