Warsaw Names Top Two Seniors

Erica Ann Ridderman is the valedictorian of the Warsaw Community High School Class of 2009, and Jacob A. Macdonald is salutatorian.

Erica is the daughter of Richard and Karen Ridderman. She plans to attend Indiana University and major in philosophy and history.[[In-content Ad]]While at Warsaw Community High School, she has been involved in track and cross country. She competed at the state level of competition in both sports. In the fall of 2008 she was named as the IHSAA State Mental Attitude Award winner for cross country. In February, she was selected as one of 12 students across the state as an IHSAA Centennial Award winner.

She also was involved in SADD, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, church youth praise band and youth group.

Jacob is the son of Dr. George and Jane Macdonald. He plans to attend Queen's University, Canada, and major in mechanical engineering.

While at WCHS, Jacob was involved in Spanish Club, Octagon Club, Mathletes, Academic Superbowl and the NHS.
