Warsaw Man Reports Robbery

According to a report from the Warsaw Police Department, Johnny Lee Belcher, LaVista Drive, Warsaw, said he was returning to his house after taking trash to the curb around 11:30 p.m. Thursday when the incident occurred.[[In-content Ad]]When Belcher's wife Angela got home around midnight, she said she found Johnny laying face down in the driveway of their residence and called police.
Johnny was sitting in the driveway when police arrived. He said he took the trash to the curb and turned around to go back inside the residence. Then he said he was hit in the back of the head, but he does not know by what or if it was by one person or more. Johnny could not provide police with a description of a suspect or the object he was hit with.
Johnny said he did not hear anyone, and no words were exchanged during the incident. He also said $20 was stolen from his wallet.
A police dog was brought to the scene but could not pick up a scent for the possible attacker.
The incident remains under investigation by the Warsaw Police Department.
