Warsaw Man Dies From Injuries Suffered Saturday

A Warsaw man died Monday in a Fort Wayne hospital from injuries suffered in a Saturday morning accident.
Glenn Parker Wade, 37, of 310 S. Columbia St., was driving a mo-ped east on Market Street when he reportedly collided with the back of a parked truck. Police responding to the 2:24 a.m. accident found Wade unconscious.
According to police reports Wade was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital and then to Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital, where he was treated for head injuries.
Hospital officials report that Wade was taken off life support Monday and died a short time later.
Witnesses at the scene of the accident told police the mo-ped looked like it was too close to the dump truck prior to striking it. The dump truck was legally parked, according to police reports.
According to police reports, blood tests indicated that Wade had a blood alcohol content of .199 percent.
