A Warsaw man with a taste for video games landed himself in jail after repeatedly breaking into a local video store.
Nathan Scott Dimmock, 27, Warsaw, is preliminarily charged with felony burglary to a business as well as felony theft.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives and undercover officers responded to the area of Center and Reed streets Thursday night around 10 p.m. after an anonymous tip of a burglary suspect.
Officers identified and located Dimmock and took him into custody without incident. Dimmock had allegedly broken into the Video World business on West Lake Street on four different occasions in the last several weeks. Dimmock reportedly stole hundreds of vintage video game console cartridges, that are estimated at more than $10,000 in value.
Video World, which has been closed for several years, is planning/attempting to reopen, according to KCSD First Sergeant Chad Hill.
