NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING THE
PROPOSED CONTRACT BETWEEN
WARSAW COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION
EMPLOYING CRAIG J. HINTZ AS SUPERINTENDENT
    On December 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Warsaw Community Schools’ Educational Services Center located at 1 Administration Drive, Warsaw, Indiana 46580, the Board of School Trustees will meet to discuss and hear from the public objections to and support for the proposed contract, which will be effective from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.
Proposed Contract Details
Annual Base Salary    $144,700.00
Annual Teacher Retirement Fund Contribution*    $4,341.00
Annual 403(b) Plan Contribution    $  12,000.00
Annual 401(a) Plan Contribution    $-0-
Annual VEBA Plan Contribution    $-0-
Annual Group Health Insurance Premium Contribution    $-0-
Annual Group Dental Insurance Premium Contribution    $-0-
Waiver of Health Insurance Stipend     $   2,000.00
Annual Long Term Insurance Disability Premium Contribution    $96.00
Annual Term Life Insurance Premium Contribution
($150,000 death benefit)     $197.52
Annual Technology Cellular Telephone Allowance    $884.00
Total Monetary Value of Base Salary and Benefits Contract    $164,218.52
* Indicates that Warsaw Community Schools’ contribution on behalf of the superintendent is the same percentage of salary that is contributed on behalf of all administrative positions.
    Cancellation:  The proposed contract can be canceled by the Board of School Trustees for the reasons set out in Indiana statute.  The superintendent and Warsaw Community Schools can by mutual agreement cancel the proposed contract at any time.
    Work days:  The superintendent receives 25 vacation days.
    Increases:  The Board of School Trustees annually reviews the superintendent’s performance, salary and benefits and may approve changes in base salary, contributions, or allowances at that time.
