Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of Warsaw, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on a Petition for Voluntary Annexation. The hearing will be held on the 21st day of May, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 302 East Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana.
The proposed annexation, also, involves consideration of a change in the zoning classification from Agricultural to I-2/Industrial for the following described tract:
Commencing at the northwest corner of the northwest quarter of section 34, township 33 north, range 6 east, said point being a PK nail at the intersection of the centerlines of County Road 300 North and County Road 100 East; running thence south 00 degrees, 04 minutes 55 seconds west, along the west line of said northwest quarter and along the centerline of said County Road 100 East 887.55 feet to a half-inch iron bar, being the Point of Beginning; thence south 89 degrees, 56 minutes 00 seconds east, 1,341.10 feet; thence south 00 degrees 13 minutes 44 seconds west along the fence line 1760.59 feet to the south line of the said northwest quarter and a wood corner post; thence 89 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds west along said south line and along a fence line 1336.58 feet to the southwest corner of said northwest quarter, said point being a PK nail on the centerline of said County Road 100 East; thence north 00 degrees 04 minutes 55 seconds east along the west line of said northwest quarter and along said road centerline 1760.58 feet to the Place of Beginning containing 54.11 acres, more or less.
Written suggestions or objections to the provisions of said annexation may be filed with the Building and Planning Department before such hearing and will be heard by the Common Council at the time and place specified. Said hearing may be continued from time to time as may be necessary.
Interested persons desiring to present their views upon the proposed annexation, either in writing or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above mentioned time and place. Copies of the proposed annexation may be examined in the office of the City Planner located at 794 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana.
