Warsaw Baptist Church Has New Pastor and Service Times

Warsaw Baptist Church, 2005 Fisher Ave., Ind. 15S, introduces its new pastor, Roy Guenin, and his wife Carol. They have come from Kirby Woods Baptist Church, Memphis, Tenn.

Pastor Roy has taught Sunday school since he was 23, and an ordained deacon since 25. They were involved in 10 new church starts  when he was the Sunday school superintendant in Fort Wayne, including Blackhawk Baptist with Dr. David Jeremiah.

They then helped start a Southern Baptist church in Laurinburg, N.C., where he was also involved in the community as a school board member, chairman of the county election board, president of the chamber of commerce and appointed by the governor to the education review council. He has been a trustee at Cedarville University since he was 28 and is still serving as a trustee today.

They moved to Memphis,  where they helped with Kirby Woods Baptist Church. He was an ordained deacon and Sunday school teacher. He worked for the church as homebound minister and teacher development/training.

He was then adult Sunday school teacher at Bethel Baptist Church.  

They have now come to the Warsaw/Winona Lake area to retire, but was called to Warsaw Baptist Church as pastor.

Sunday school for all ages is at 10 a.m., morning worship is a 11 a.m., evening service is at 6 p.m and Wednesday Bible study is a 6:30 p.m. Nursery is also available.
