CINCINNATI, Ohio – Warren H. Harlan, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Aug. 28, 2012, in his residence.

She was born to Clayton and Cora Harlan. He married Anna Mary Wolf, who survives.

He graduated from Etna Green High School in 1938. After serving in World War II, he graduated from Tri-State College in engineering and then worked for 35 years at Procter & Gamble, where he retired as manager of technology. He was a master woodworker, avid golfer, an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and  a member of American Legion Post 530. He served as both a deacon and trustee at Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian, and was a volunteer woodworker at Maple Knoll Village.

He was the devoted father of Dawn High, Mark (and spouse Chris) Harlan, Dale (and spouse Helen) Harlan, Carla (and spouse Mark) Hutker and Wade (and spouse Helen) Harlan. Also surviving are a younger brother,  the Rev. Lloyd Harlan; an older sister, Ethel Marie Wood; and 10 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 4 p.m.

Calling is one hour prior to the graveside service Sunday at Stony Point Cemetery, three miles west and one-half mile north of Clunette on CR 650N
A reception will be around 5 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Church of God, 8424 N. CR 800W, Etna Green, 5-1/2  miles south of Nappanee.
