Wanda Lee Swain, 82, of Warsaw, passed away at 8:15 a.m. April 3, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 14, 1928, in New Castle, to Eldon W. and Mildred Holloway Moore. On June 3, 1947, in Camp Lejeune, N.C., she married Francis E. Swain, who preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Anderson High School and had been a residence of New Castle, Anderson, Chesterfield and Warsaw. As a manager, she retired from Vore Cinema Corp., Warsaw. She was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Surviving are a daughter, Dona Hall, Warsaw; a son,  Patrick M. (and spouse Trudie G.) Swain, Warsaw; a daughter-in-law, Della M. Swain, Warsaw; granddaughters: Christy L. Coonce and Rachel Chalmers, both of Warsaw; Michelle Barrand, Fort Wayne; and Jessica D. Fisher, Bloomington; grandsons: Kenneth Swain and Jeremy W. Fisher, both of Warsaw; Joseph Coonce, Washington State; and Travis A. Swain, Columbus, Ohio; and a brother, Richard Moore, Milford. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth E. Swain,   Warsaw, and Joseph M. Swain, North Vernon.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
