Wanda Jean Shawver Miller, 71, of 3176 E. CR 250N, Warsaw, died at 7:09 p.m. May 6, 2008, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born April 1, 1937, at Indian Creek, W.Va., to Newt and Edna Conner Shawver. On May 15, 1965, in Columbia City, she married Ray Miller, who survives.

Living in Warsaw since 1976, she retired from Quality Farm and Fleet in 2001, and was a member of Christ Covenant Church, Winona Lake.

She was a faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Also surviving are a daughter, Terry (and spouse David) Murray, Fort Wayne; three sons: Kenny (and spouse Lisa) Miller, Columbia City; Dale Miller, Peru; and Steve (and spouse Angela) Miller, Fort Wayne; four brothers: David (and spouse Mary) Shawver, Uel (and spouse Wanda) Shawver, Art (and spouse Sharon) Shawver and Johnny (and spouse Sandy) Shawver; a sister, Edna Mae Swinney; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Paul, Clarence and Gary Shawver.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Larry McCall officiating. Burial will be in Washington Union Cemetery, Pierceton.

Calling is from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
