Kevin Walker and Tracy Ripplinger, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Walker, Warsaw, to Curtis Shoemaker, Pierceton. He is the son of Ted and Mary Shoemaker, North Webster.

The bride-to-be is an associate teller at Mutual Federal Savings Bank, Warsaw. She is a 2005 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and currently attends Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne where she studies visual communications.

The groom-elect is a machinist at Zimmer Inc. He is a 1999 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and currently attends Ivy Tech's Tool and Die apprenticeship program.
