NORTH MANCHESTER - W. Lorriane Brown, 77, of North Manchester, died at 2:35 a.m. July 13, 2008, in Wabash County Hospital.

She was born July 26, 1930, in Sterling, Ill., to Mark and Winnie Conners Reitzel. On March 19, 1950, she married William D. Brown, who survives.

She was dietary manager at Timbercrest Senior Living Community for 23 years, retiring in 1995. After retirement she operated Winnie's Country Café. She was a 1948 Sterling High School graduate. She was a certified whitefaced brethren clown.

Also surviving are a son, Gregg (and spouse Debbie) Brown, Sidney; two daughters, Colleen Brown, North Manchester, and Lorry (and spouse Scott) Garber, Claypool; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
