Virginia Banghart, 90, of 1219 E. Clark St., Warsaw, died at 4:50 p.m. Jan. 17, 2008, in her residence.

She was born Dec. 28, 1917, in Plymouth, to Clifford Russell and Floe Lorenna Tracy VanVactor. On April 21, 1932, in Plymouth, she married Norman Banghart.

She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She worked at Judds Drug Store and Brennans Drug Store. She was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw, and was a member of the Boys & Girls Club and the Firemen's Auxiliary.

Survivors include three daughters: Nancy Sue (and spouse Larry) Stover and Mary Ann (and spouse Mark) Lafountain, all of Warsaw; Lorenna Marie (and spouse Warren) Rohrer, Atwood; two sons, Danny Lee Banghart, Oswego, and Stephen (and spouse Burt) Banghart, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph VanVactor, Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
