Virgil “Dee” Wagner, 76, passed away at 12:30 p.m. May 17, 2014, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1938, in Kosciusko County, to Ines Hatfield.  On Nov. 11, 1976, in Warsaw, he married Juanita Hall Sanchez, who survives.
He was co-owner of Bouse’s Barber Shop in the 1960s. In 1995 he retired from DePuy after 29 years in the shipping department as a material handler. He then opened Dee’s Barber Shop in Leesburg, and enjoyed seeing all his friends in the shop and catching up on all the current news.
He was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge and Sons of the American Legion Post #49, both of Warsaw.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, mushroom hunting and fishing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Also surviving are two daughters, Shelly (and spouse Scott) Shaw, Walkerton, and Sandy (and spouse Rodger) Townsend, Kearny, Neb.; three stepsons: Jeffrey, Stephen (and spouse Cindy) and Chris (and spouse Shanda) Sanchez; three grandchildren: Phillip (and spouse Staci) Robinson, Indianapolis; Alex and Mercedes Sanchez, both of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Wagner, and two brothers, Kenny and Keith Wagner.
A dinner and celebration of life will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Warsaw Moose Lodge. Burial will be in Garden of Memories, Muncie, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29.
