Vic and Peggy Virgil, of 2379 Fox Farm Road, Warsaw, celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 23. The couple were married Aug. 23, 1959, in Goshen, at 8th St. Mennonite Church with the Rev. Daniel J. Graber officiating.

He retired from the Kosciusko County Extension Service and she works at Goshert Insurance.

They have three children: Jeff (and spouse Tammy) Virgil, Etna Green; Laurie (and spouse Frank) Gray, Fort Wayne; and Debbie (and spouse Daniel) Sanchez, New Paris; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner and will take a trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C., in September.
