SYRACUSE – Vickie L. Myers, 65, of Syracuse, died at 4:45 a.m.  March 13, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Kendallville, to Wilford E. and Carol L. Case Fair. On Sept. 29, 1962, in Ligonier, she married Charles W. Myers, who survives.

She attended Ligonier High School. She lived most of her life in Noble, Elkhart and Kosciusko counties, having moved to Syracuse from Goshen in 1974. She retired after 33 years as a nurse’s assistant. She formerly worked at Fountain View Nursing Home, Goshen; LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee; and worked at private in-home nursing. She formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church, Nappanee.

Also surviving are three daughters, Tina (and spouse Tyson) Barnett, Warsaw, and Shelia (and spouse Steve) Charlton and Karen (and spouse Mark) Curry, all of Syracuse; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Lounsbury, LaGrange; and two brothers, Bob (and spouse June) Fair, Bristol, and Jerry (and spouse Donna) Fair, Indianapolis.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.

Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
