Velma May Thompson, 65, of Warsaw, died at 9:57 a.m. Oct. 11, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born June 8, 1945, in Warsaw, to Emett and Nelda E. Bieswanger Thompson.

She was a lifetime Warsaw resident and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 49, Warsaw.

Surviving are several cousins. She was preceded in death her father, Emett Thompson, who died in 1981, and her mother, Nelda Thompson, who died in 1983.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Irv Lindemuth of Bethany Fellowship, Warsaw.

No calling is planned.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
