Valley OKs Wastewater Bid Outline

AKRON -ÊDuring a brief special session Monday night, the Tippecanoe Valley School Board approved an outline for bids for its recently approved wastewater treatment plant.

The first advertisement of notice to bidders will run Thursday, and the second will run April 6.

Bids for the project, which is estimated to cost around $500,000, will be opened April 25.

Bids will be awarded May 8 at the regular school board meeting.

Mark Sullivan, of Common Wealth Engineering, submitted the designs for the project to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, which reviewed the plans before the bids were prepared.

The waste water treatment plant will serve Tippecanoe Valley High School and Tippecanoe Valley Middle School.
