Valley Announces Summer Food Service Program

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Free lunch will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under and to persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.
Free lunch will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Children can eat at any school site listed below regardless of where they attend school during the school year.
Meal sites and times are:
– Akron Elementary School, 101 E. Rural St., Akron; breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 6, ending July 1; lunch, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning June 6, ending July 29.
– Mentone Elementary School, 291 E. Jackson St., Mentone; breakfast, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 6, ending July 1; lunch, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 6, ending July 29.
– Tippecanoe Valley High School, 8345 S. Ind. 19, Akron; breakfast, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 6, ending July 1; lunch, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 6, ending July 29.
