U.S. 30 At Ind. 15 To One Lane Through Nov.

A project to raise the superstructures and replace the decks of the U.S. 30 bridges over Ind. 15 and the nearby Norfolk Southern railroad is scheduled to begin Monday.

During construction, the plan is to maintain traffic on at least one lane in each direction for both U.S. 30 and Ind. 15. The interchange ramps for access between U.S. 30 and Ind. 15 will remain open as well.[[In-content Ad]]The scheduled completion date is Nov. 2.

During construction, the weight limit on U.S. 30 will be reduced to 72,000 pounds and the lane widths restricted to 9 feet, 6 inches. On Ind. 15, the lane width restriction will be 12 feet, and the normal weight limit will apply.
