Uncle and Nephew Charged With Thefts in Pierceton, Palestine Areas

Thadius Jacob Kuta, 20, and Jonathan Dale Kuta, 38, both of Warsaw, were arrested shortly after midnight on June 15.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department coordinated patrols in various locations in response to multiple burglary reports in the last month. Deputies were stationed in the immediate area after they were advised of a potential burglary taking place in a barn south of Pierceton on CR 400S, where they confirmed two individuals as the brothers.
Deputies were able to determine that the two were responsible for several burglaries, including a stolen handgun. Both men were charged with felony burglary and each is being held at Kosciusko County Jail on a $10,250 bond.
Many victims have already been contacted about the items that have been recovered so far, according to detectives.[[In-content Ad]]
