Two Men Arrested after Putting Stolen Appliances on Craigslist

A break-in at 2533 Nature View Drive, in Harrison Ridge addition, Warsaw, was reported Oct. 16 by the owner and builder of Stonehill Homes, based out of New Carlisle, Indiana.
Several new appliances were stolen from the home. Within a day after the break-in, appliances matching the description were found listed for sale on Craig’slist, an internet sales site. The victim and Warsaw Police recovered the items at 3022 Deerfield Path, Warsaw, the next day.
A subsequent search warrant was served at that residence.
Two men associated with that theft and have been arrested. Justin Ray Teel, 24, the owner of the home the appliances were located at and Nathaniel V. Johnson, 26, Pierceton, who was present at the home and showed the items for sale.
Both subjects were arrested today at their homes and booked on felony charges of burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property. Both were held on a $12,000 cash bond.
Warsaw Police and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office suspect that others may be involved in this matter, and continue to investigate.[[In-content Ad]]
