Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies and DTF officers raided a residence at 701 E. CR 800S, Claypool, Monday afternoon after receiving a tip of possible methamphetamine production.
Officers located an active one-pot meth lab. Deputies also located Norman Lee McCord, 56, and preliminarily arrested him on felony charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team responded to secure and remove the meth lab.
A second arrest occurred Wednesday shortly after 10 a.m. with the apprehension of Ronald Douglas Meade Sr., 63, at his residence, 5790 S. Maple Grove Lane, Warsaw, on Sellers Lake.
Meade was arrested by DTF deputies following an ongoing investigation after he allegedly sold undisclosed prescription medications to officers. He was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and preliminarily charged with felony dealing in a schedule I controlled substance.
Both McCord and Meade were booked on individual $10,000 bonds. The Kosciusko County DTF was also assisted by the Warsaw Police Drug/Narcotics Taskforce.[[In-content Ad]]
