TVMS Spell Bowl Team Goes To State

The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School Spell Bowl Team made its third consecutive trip to the IASP State Spell Bowl Finals at Purdue University Saturday. The team finished fourth overall in Class 2, spelling 55 of 72 words correctly. The team consists of (L to R), front row: Hayley Backus – student coach; Hannah Parson, George Gillman, Matthew Howes, Devan Chandler, José Espinosa; back row: Mikayla McCord, Billy Gillman, Quentin Allen; Susanne Siebrase, coach; and Austyn McCord.
