Troupe Presents 'High School Musical 2'

SYRACUSE - The Northern Indiana Area Drama Troupe, in conjunction with the Syracuse Community Center, presents "High School Musical 2" on stage.

This outdoor production will take place at Syracuse Lakeside Park, right on the beach.

Come join the Wildcats as they leave the hallowed halls of East High for the jungle of Lava Springs Country Club, owned by Sharpay Evans' father, in search of summer jobs. Singing and dancing will abound as the Wildcats test the true bonds of friendship.

The main cast is comprised of approximately 25 students in grades 6-12 from Fairfield, Warsaw, Wawaka, Wawasee and Whitko. There also are approximately 15 students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in the "country club kids" ensemble.

The main cast of "High School Musical 2" are: Brock Davis as Troy Bolton; Cecilia Southworth, Gabriella Montez; Derek Grose, Ryan Evans; Tara Akers, Sharpay Evans; Andy Johnson, Chad Danforth; Krista Bragg, Taylor McKessie; Ian Brumbaugh, Zeke Baylor; Cynthia Valdizon, Martha Cox; Erik Rodriguez, Jack Scott; Ally Ferber, Kelsi Neilsen; Marissa Cox, Sharpette Blossom; Niki Lollar, Sharpette Violet; Stefani Davis, Sharpette Peaches; Scott Mason, Mr. Fulton; Cole Duggins, Ripper; Donica Owsley, Pairs ensemble; Calvin Barefoot, Pairs ensemble; Amanda Bradley, ensemble; Amie Fortman, ensemble; Ashley West, ensemble; Caroline Kauffman, ensemble; Dasha Ogden, ensemble; and Rachel Rozow, ensemble.

There will be five performances, set for July 17-18 at 4 and 7:30 p.m.; and July 19 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Syracuse Community Center, from cast members, or at the Son Shine Preschool. Or, to purchase tickets, call 574-457-6875, 574-457-3440 or 574-834-4335.
