Triton To Host Financial Aid Night Jan. 17 For Public

This program will provide financial aid information to high school seniors and their parents, or anyone else in the community, who plans to attend a post-secondary institution during the 2013-14 school year.
Kathy Mills, financial aid director from Ancilla College, will explain how to accurately complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which is required by most colleges for financial aid consideration. She will troubleshoot the process of filing an electronic FAFSA on the Internet.
Parents and students will receive the FAFSA on the web worksheets at this meeting. If parents or students prefer to fill out a paper FAFSA instead of the electronic FAFSA on the Internet, they can download a copy and print it out at www.fafsa.ed.gov or call 800-433-3243 to request a copy be sent to them.
Hugh Rettinger, guidance counselor, will give a brief update about local scholarships available to Triton students.[[In-content Ad]]
