Triton Service Project

Pictured are the Triton Elementary School sixth-graders as they get their instructions for packing meals for the ‘Feed My Starving Children’ service learning project, which was Wednesday. The sixth-graders attended the activity with the Triton High School wrestling team. Principal Jeremy Riffle said, ‘I cannot tell you how proud I am of the 120 student/staff members that attended the Feed My Starving Children meal pack yesterday. The Triton Elementary sixth-graders teamed up with the Triton High School Varsity Wrestling team to make an impact on our community and world.’ During just two hours of their time, students packed 93,312 meals that will feed 255 kids for a year. Riffle continued, ‘Are you kidding me? Awesome job guys and thank you for representing Triton School Corporation in grand fashion.’ Evelyn Stichter gave her time, efforts and willingness to step up as a motivator, model, tour guide and cheer leader. The children learned about the joy of giving and serving others.
