Triton Names Top Scholars Announced

BOURBON - David Bradford is Triton High School's valedictorian for the 1997-98 school year, and Emily Robinson is the salutatorian.

Bradford is a National Merit Scholarship finalist, an Indiana Academic Honors Diploma recipient and a Presidential Academic Fitness Award winner. He also is a member of National Honor Society and a graduate of Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy.

He was selected as the outstanding student in English, science and social studies at this year's academic awards program.

The son of Gregory and Luann Bradford of Bourbon, Bradford plans to attend Taylor University to study religion.

Salutatorian Emily Robinson also is an Indiana Academic Honors Diploma recipient and a Presidential Academic Fitness Award winner. National Honor Society secretary, she is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Science Club. She is a graduate of KYLA and has served as a class officer and cheerleader. She also is a four-year choir member and a Trojan Singer.

The daughter of Steve and Becky Waymire of Bourbon and Jay Robinson of Warsaw, Robinson plans to attend Indiana Wesleyan University and study secondary education or communications. [[In-content Ad]]
