Triton Held Scoreless Again

LAKEVILLE -ÊThe LaVille Lancers hosted Triton and got their first win of the season Friday over the Trojans, 34-0.

Triton's football team last scored points in a 41-14 Sept. 1 home loss to Culver Community. Since then, Triton has gone scoreless for 17 straight quarters.

The Trojans gained just 73 yards in total offense while allowing LaVille to gain 294.

The Lancers took a 7-0 lead after the first quarter and scored 13 points in the second quarter to take a 20-0 advantage into the locker room at the half.

Triton held the LaVille squad scoreless in the third quarter, but the Lancers fought back to score two more touchdowns in the fourth to get the 34-0 victory.

LaVille is 1-6 overall and 1-4 in the NSC, while Triton falls to 2-5 overall and 0-5 in the NSC.
