Tracey Yeager Memorial 5K Run/Walk Set For May 26

WINONA LAKE – The Tracey Yeager Memorial 5K Run/Walk returns to Winona Lake on Memorial Day.
The run to honor the late Navy helicopter pilot and support the trail fund in her name is May 26 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Check-in and same-day registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and pre-registration is available online at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/TraceyYeager5K
A registration form to print and mail is available at http://tinyurl.com/TYM5K
The entry fee is $20 before May 15, $25 after the 15th and $60 per family.
Yeager passed away on Memorial Day in 2010 and was honored with a run the next year that raised $22,000 for the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund. Almost 550 runners participated last year and more than $30,000 was raised for the trail fund, which supports parks as well as hiking and cycling trails in the county.
“This family friendly event is a great way to honor her memory,” event sponsor SYM Financial said in its online announcement of the run.
