Well, gee, Linda, I always read your letters. You and the rest of the "Delusional Team" provide me with better comedy than I can find on my 15-year-old TV set.

To set the record straight, I had worked nearly 40 years until I lost my job in the Bush depression. The last 21 years I have been sole-supporting. I find your condescending comments that I want someone to "take care" of me highly insulting. Without providing you with a financial statement and detailed inventory of my house, I can assure you I cannot afford $12,000 per year for health insurance.

I attempt, also, to speak for the millions of Americans who cannot afford health insurance, are facing bankruptcy from unaffordable medical care, and have lost their homes due to this injustice. If you would bother to take off your right-wing blinders and read of the many fundraisers in our local paper for people with life-threatening illnesses that can't afford treatment, maybe you could muster an ounce of compassion for these people. It takes a hell of a lot of cupcakes to pay for a series of $20,000 chemotherapy treatments.

I realize you know everything and have all the answers, but not all drugs are available in generic form; and medical providers don't have to take payments. That's how people lose their homes. Heart disease, kidney disease, cancer and diabetes are but a few diseases that a visit to MedStat or the emergency room cannot fix.

Maybe in your fantasy world, you don't have to file a tax return, but me and everyone I know has to file a tax return. It has nothing to do with resources; it's the law. Hence, my tax man.

Thanks for clearing up that jail misunderstanding. You seem also to be well-versed on the workings of our penal system. Is there anything you don't know?

Those wonderful Bush tax cuts you speak so highly of, gave those at the very top of the income scale the greatest percentage of them, while households with incomes of less than $40,000 received just 8 percent of the benefits. These wonderful tax cuts resulted in decreased spending for domestic programs, shifted tax burdens to states and localities, and made massive additions to the national debt. "Where were the tea party buffoons, then?" When costs of repaying the tax cuts are factored in, four out of five taxpayers lost more than they gained from the tax cuts. Only the top 20 percent came out ahead, with the biggest gains going to those at the very top.

As for the illegal wars, obviously there is no room for rational discussion if you insist on believing all the WMD, Al Qaida, responsible for 9-11 line of propaganda. This has been debunked time and time again, except for on the Fox Party channel.

Attacking someone's opinions is far different than launching a person's assault on someone's character. You seem unable to grasp this difference. To denigrate two people based on wild assumption calls into questions your moral compass and integrity. While Mr. Sanders can well speak for himself I found your high-handed attitude toward him to be offensive to the extreme. How dare you suggest he is somehow not as patriotic as you portray yourself to be just because he doesn't buy into your right-wing claptrap. What on earth is your source that there are no liberals in the military? That must be one of those Beck-isms. While you say that there is a difference between true Democrats and liberals, may I remind you there is a difference between true Republicans and demagogues.
