Tommy and the former Linda Ann Enyeart were married Oct. 19, 1962, in Bracken by the Rev. H. Beeman.
Tom worked at International Harvester, Fort Wayne, and while living a time in Texas, he worked for Gulf Airmotive, Sline Painting, Todd Shipyard and Missouri Pacific Railroad. Upon returning to Indiana in 1973, he again worked for I.H. and retired with more than 20 years of service in 2007 from DePuy, Warsaw.
Linda worked as a hair dresser for more than 22 years, having her own salon, “The Pink Lady”, for 15 years in North Manchester. Later she worked as a real estate agent in Warsaw, and owned “Ginger-Bear Kennel” for 24 years on the family farm near Sidney.
The couple have two children, Tommy II, rural Claypool, and Chris (and spouse Margaret) Torpy, Ridinger Lake; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with a private dinner party.
