Tippecanoe Valley To Host 'Guiding Good Choices' Parenting Workshop

“Guiding Good Choices” is an interactive program that helps parents (grandparents, caretakers, foster parents, etc.) tackle tough subjects such as:
– How to prevent drug use in your family – developing protective factors in your family;
➢– Conducting a family meeting – having a plan and sticking to the plan;
– How to develop healthy beliefs and clear standards – the need for specific answers to your child’s tough questions;
– Strengthening family bonds – getting everyone involved and actively participating;
– Helping your child learn refusing skills and practicing those skills.
“Guiding Good Choices” consists of five 2-1/2-hour sessions. The series begins June 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Tippecanoe Valley Middle School.
The remaining four sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 6, 11, 18 and 20. A meal will be provided for participants at each session.

Participants that successfully complete all five sessions will receive a $25 gift card.
