Superior Court III
The following violations were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court II with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion.
The following people also paid $129.50 in court costs during sentencing in July:
Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $300 in May 2000; sentenced to three years in jail, of which two years were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $25 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a session of the drunk driving impact panel; and driving privileges suspended one year was Douglas E. Ripple, 42, Warsaw. The jail time can be served in work release if Ripple is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $100 in April; sentenced to two years in prison, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $300 alcohol interdiction fee and a $25 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a session of the drunk driving impact panel; and driving privileges suspended one year was Bettina Kay Sutton, 36, Warsaw.
Driving While Adjudged A Habitual Traffic Offender (Class C felony) - Sentenced in February to four years in prison was Ronald J. Church Jr., 26, Syracuse.
Church also was sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison for driving while intoxicated, a Class D felony. The terms were ordered served concurrently and Church must also pay a $100 fine and a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and his driving privileges suspended two years.
Nonsupport Of A Child - Fined $1 in February and sentenced to one year in jail, to be suspended conditional upon paying child support currently was Jason Nolin, 29, Warsaw.
Fined $1 in January and sentenced to three years in jail, suspended conditional upon paying child support currently, plus $2,000 per year toward arrearage, was Julie D. Blankenship, 35, Warsaw.
