The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 9 p.m. Monday - Randall Lee Laughlin, 32, of 509 E. Market St., Warsaw, charged with driving while suspended. Bond: $225.
• 10 p.m. Friday - Leroy Joseph Sample, 36, Marion, charged with failure to comply. Bond: $138.50.

Accidents
• 2:33 a.m. Sunday - West Center Street, 50 feet east of Little League Drive, Warsaw. Pickup hit pole and junction box. Driver: Nathan E. Beaudin, 21, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Injury: Beaudin suffered bleeding to his head. Damage: $1,000-$2,500 to Beaudin's car; less than $750 each to NIPSCO pole and Sprint junction box. Beaudin was cited for driving while intoxicated. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 5:03 p.m. Monday - U.S. 30 westbound ramp, 85 feet west of Ind. 15, Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Roger W. Stark, 47, Goshen; Dawn R. Wise, 36, New Paris. Injury: A passenger in Wise's car, James L. Wise, 37, New Paris, complained of neck pain and refused medical attention. Damage: Less than $750 to each vehicle. WPD.

• 7:10 a.m. Monday - CR 400W, 40 feet north of CR 100S, near Warsaw. Car hit mailbox. Driver: Samuel T. Prater, 20, South Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Damage: $750-$1,000 to Prater's car; less than $750 to property of Richard A. Harmon, CR 100S, Warsaw. KCSD.
• 8:20 a.m. Monday - Parking lot at 2101 DuBois Drive, Warsaw. Car hit sign post. Driver: Mable A. Stouder, 66, North Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell. Damage: $750-$1,000 to Stouder's car; less than $750 to property of Kosciusko Community Hospital. WPD.
• 8:49 a.m. Monday - Intersection of Park Avenue and Main Street, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Ballard J. Hackworth, 76, East Clark Street, Warsaw; Elizabeth H. McMillan, 39, East Main Street, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-
$2,500 to Hackworth's car; $750-$1,000 to McMillan's car. WPD.

• Aug. 17 - Mike Bormes, Evergreen Drive, Warsaw, reported the theft of a boat and trailer. KCSD.
• 2:45 p.m. Friday - Jennifer Lynn Coutur, East CR 800N, North Manchester, reported fraudulent activity on her bank account at Wabash County Farm Bureau Credit Union. A total of $510 was withdrawn from the Warsaw branch by an unauthorized, unknown person. WPD.
• 2:30 p.m. Sunday - Gretchen S. Wigley, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, reported the theft of a check from her mail. KCSD.
• 7:39 p.m. Sunday - Naomi Sue Ann Meredith, Ind. 25S, Warsaw, reported a hit/skip to her vehicle at the intersection of Prairie Street and Ind. 15. Damage: $1,000-$2,500 to Meredith's vehicle. WPD.
• 7:18 a.m. Monday - Carl E. Wilkins, North CR 750E, Syracuse, reported the theft of a cellular telephone from a truck at his residence. KCSD.
• 10:34 a.m. Monday - Gale Lynn Vanator, East Center Street, Warsaw, reported the theft of a bicycle from Taco Bell, Warsaw. Value: $100. WPD.
• 3:40 p.m. Monday - Robert J. Houser of the Syracuse Police Department reported damage to his squad car parked on Huntington Street, Syracuse, when tree limbs blew down on it during a storm. The car sustained damage to the hood and windshield. KCSD.
