• A Kosciusko County woman who filed a civil tort against John Slaybaugh, who sexually molested her two daughters over a substantial period of time, prior to Feb. 26, 1997, was awarded $500,000 on their behalf by default, plus court costs. Senior Judge Richard Sand rendered the judgment. Due to the nature of the case, the Times-Union is not printing the names of the plaintiffs.

• Union Federal Savings Bank of Indianapolis vs. Richard L. and Kimberly L. Davis. Plaintiff awarded $79,611.08 by default, plus costs incurred, interest, court costs and foreclosure of mortgage, with sale of real estate to satisfy judgment.
• Commercial Union Insurance Co. vs. Mark G. Argenbright, et al. Plaintiff's motion for summary judgment is granted in favor of plaintiff and against Argenbright, doing business as Indiana Trust. The counter-motion, by Argenbright, for summary judgment is denied.
• First National Bank of Warsaw vs. Alfredo and Jodi L. Lozano. Plaintiff awarded $6,427.94 by default, plus interest and court costs.
• Lake City Bank vs. Kevin Hall. Plaintiff awarded $11,805.40 by default.
• A Kosciusko County woman who filed a civil tort against John Slaybaugh, who sexually molested her two daughters over a substantial period of time, prior to Feb. 26, 1997, was awarded $500,000 on their behalf by default, plus court costs. Senior Judge Richard Sand rendered the judgment. Due to the nature of the case, the Times-Union is not printing the names of the plaintiffs.
• Midwest Collection vs. Stephen Ashby. Plaintiff awarded $4,480.28 by default, plus court costs.

The following cases were dismissed with prejudice:
