Superior Court III
The following violation were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court III with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion.
The following people also paid $129.50 in court costs during sentencing in December:
Driving While Intoxicated - Sentenced for a August offense to 1-1/2 years in jail, of which six months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to attend a session of the Drunk Driving Impact Panel; and driving privileges suspended one year was Thomas E. Keen, 32, Syracuse. The jail term can be served in work release if Keen is qualified for and accepted to the program.
Fined $300 for a February 1998 offense; sentenced to three years in jail, of which all but eight months was suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, to complete an alcohol treatment program and to pay a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Carla Lewis, 40, Warsaw. The jail term can be served in work release if Lewis is qualified for and accepted to the program.
