The following violation were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court III with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion.

Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $167.50 from an August arrest, sentenced to 30 months in prison, of which 28 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee, to complete a substance abuse evaluation, to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting and to pay a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Douglas E. Sullivan, 41, Mentone. The jail term can be served in work release if Sullivan is qualified and accepted to it.
Judgment (court costs only) from a July arrest, sentenced to 12 months in prison; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and driving privileges suspended one year was Steven Melvin Hapner, 31, Warsaw. The jail term was ordered served consecutively to another conviction in Kosciusko Superior Court III and can be served in work release if Hapner is qualified and accepted to it.
Judgment (court costs only) from a September arrest, sentenced to 24 months in prison, of which 12 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and driving privileges suspended one year was Steven Melvin Hapner, 31, Warsaw. The jail term was ordered served consecutively to another conviction in Kosciusko Superior Court III and can be served in work release if Hapner is qualified and accepted to it.
Fined $117.50 from an August arrest, sentenced to 36 months in prison, of which 34 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and driving privileges suspended one year was William Lewis Vining, 21, Claypool. The jail term can be served in work release if Vining is qualified and accepted to it.
Fined $132.50 from a December arrest, sentenced to 36 months in prison, of which 30 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol countermeasure fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and driving privileges suspended one year was Kelly A. Howard, 37, Warsaw. The jail term can be served in work release if Howard is qualified and accepted to it.
Fined $67.50 from a September arrest, sentenced to 36 months in prison, of which 24 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete a substance abuse evaluation and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Joshua A. Fitzpatrick, 23, Warsaw. The jail term can be served in work release if Fitzpatrick is qualified and accepted to it.
Fined $67.50 from a September arrest, sentenced to 18 months in prison, of which 16 months were suspended for probation; ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee, to complete a substance abuse evaluation and to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; and driving privileges suspended one year was Billy E. Dulworth, 50, Claypool. The jail term can be served in work release if Dulworth is qualified and accepted to it.
Driving While Intoxicated (Class A Misdemeanor) - Fined $132.50 from a March arrest, sentenced to 12 months in prison and ordered to pay a $200 alcohol interdiction fee was Todd L. Howard, North Manchester.
For a Class D felony offense of driving while adjudged a habitual traffic offender, Howard was sentenced to 36 months in prison, of which 24 months were suspended for probation; was ordered to pay a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee and to complete a substance abuse evaluation; and his driving privileges suspended for life. The jail term can be served in work release if Howard is qualified and accepted to it.
Driving While Adjudged A Habitual Traffic Offender (Class A Misdemeanor) - Fined $93 from a November 1997 arrest, sentenced to 30 days in jail and driving privileges suspended 90 days was Joseph A. Lardino, 40, Pierceton.
Resisting Law Enforcement (Class A Misdemeanor) - Fined $267.50 from a March arrest, sentenced to 12 months in prison, of which eight months were suspended for probation; and ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation, to attend a Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting and to pay a $25 initial and $10 monthly probation user's fee was Richard C. Yarnall, 30, Leesburg. The jail term can be served in work release if Yarnall is qualified and accepted to it.
